2006 was the start for Starmountain to give lectures, trainings and courses in the hydrographic and geodetic field.
The courses are designed to the requirements of the client and can be given on site, in the Netherlands and abroad.
The courses are given in Dutch or English and include powerpoint presentations and field case examples.
In 2016 we organised a training course on behalf of the Stability, alignment, and metrology department of the MAX IV Lab in Lund, Sweden, for the service maintenance, adjustment and calibration of their Wild Heerbrugg instruments. After the course the surveyors were capable of servicing and calibrating their Wild and Leica instruments themselves.
The instruments concerned were T3000 electronic autocollimation theodolites and Wild NA2 and N3 levels.
One of the subjects covered is of course ship's geometry measurements. Starmountain implements geometry measurements and processing, including MRU calibrations in the Netherlands and abroad.
